|The fifth issue of this title in September 1934 was labelled as a 'cheap edition', priced at 2s 6d; the gilt on the boards was replaced by ink, the board colour changed from salmon pink to blue, and the endpapers were plain. The jacket design was changed to front and back panels, showing a different set of the Shepard drawings. Here we have the ninth printing from 1937, which has lost a little height but gained flap width.
Jacket illustrations by E H Shepard.
ReproJacket #97-I-1, size 191.6x469mm.
