Reynolds, Warwick

Warwick Reynolds (1880 - 1926) was born in Islington, London; his father, now known as Warwick Reynolds Senior, was a cartoonist and watercolourist. The son studied at the St John's Wood Art School and began his career in 1895 by illustrating magazines. He was particularly interested in drawing and painting animals, and made studies of those in the Zoological Society's collection from 1895 to 1901. He illustrated many books on wildlife subjects, and died in Glasgow in 1926.
