Harvey, Michael

Michael Harvey (11 Nov 1931 - 18 Oct 2013) designed with letters -- during his career he is said to have produced over 1500 dustjacket designs, mostly using lettering and carefully selected typefaces. He wrote a number of books, including Adventures With Letters (2012), which he designed and published as a record of his life and work, accompanied by a witty and typically modest commentary. In 2001 he was made an MBE for services to art.
Light on Lewis, 1st edn 1965 (Jocelyn Gibb, ed)Jocelyn Gibb was an editor at the publisher Geoffrey Bles, working closely with the author C S Lewis. Shortly after Lewis's death, Gibb assembled this set of reminiscences and comments on various aspects of the author.
